Fantastic food, lovely old style decor, staff were very friendly, polite and attentive, set in a quaint village, will be making a second visit before we leave.

Have been coming to the Chestnut Horse for some years as it is a good meeting point to get together with family.
Last visit was no exception & we all had a fabulous Sunday Lunch. The landlady is full of charisma as are her staff & although laid back the pub ticks along with its usual efficiency. There are always well behaved dogs accompanying owners which is nice to see in a country pub. Great food & a good selection of Hall & Woodhouse well kept ales. Look forward to the next visit.
